What's the max length of a field in servicenow..do we have any limit??..if not is there any impact if we increase it to 20,000 characters...

Hello,

Multi line text field has character limit of 4000 characters. Go through below article

Also instead of using Multi line text and changing max limit it is always sensible to use HTML type field since it is tinymce and don't have character limit.
