Known Issue:
Some users may experience an issue with Docs not saving when the Docs applicaiton is upgraded to version 6.0.0, but any of the dependent applications (CWM, SPW, EA, PWS) have not yet been upgraded to the minimum required versions listed below. Users will be unable to update or create new document pages within those specific applications. The minimum required versions are as follows:
- Project Workspace – 6.1.0
- Strategic Planning Workspace – 4.5.0
- Portfolio Planning Workspace – 8.5.0
- Collaborative Work Management Workspace – 5.0.0
- Enterprise Architecture Workspace – 3.4.0
Workaround:
- Recommended: Ensure all dependent applications (CWM, SPW, EA, PWS) are upgraded to their latest versions before or immediately after updating Docs.
- Alternative: If upgrading all dependent applications is not immediately feasible, download and import the update sets provided in this KB article: https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB2017926
