CWM Defects / rm_defect synchronisation

Hello,

question mostly for product team - can you please share more details around Defects, I was told there is synchronisation of CWM Task defect to rm_defect planned for Q3?

- can you confirm rm_defect will still be the underlying table (I imagine this would be critical for migrating from existing process for may orgs, same as with rm_story)

- will existing rm_defects be seamlessly pulled  through Connected Work and, same as it happens now with rm_story?

- will it b epossible to go into the details view for defect, showing rm_defect form, same as with rm_story?

- what is the targeted version/release date for this, if known?

I don't have a confirmed plan or timeline for creation of rm_defects in CWM yet.

However, today rm_defect is supported in Connected Work, so you can surface up existing rm_defect items and can open the details view - same as rm_story today.

Hi Lillian, thanks for the update. 

The interim solution with connected work is something we will use for now, however it means we need to give CWM users additional scrum roles to be able to see the defects. Hopefully in not distant feature this can be embedded into CWM seamlessly.
