CWM templates not storing Task types properly?

Hi Everyone,

I noticed when trying to save/apply CWM board templates, that if I create a CWM template from a board that has e.g. following item types enabled: Task, Story, Epic, Scrum Task, then I apply that template to another new board, only "Task" and "Scrum Task" items are applied.

Also going to the saved template and viewing the details shows only above 2 item types got saved.

Not sure if this is a bug or some design choice which I don't understand, maybe anyone can confirm if this behaves same way?

Thanks!

Hi Tom,

Ideally even scrum tasks should not be saved as template tasks. [This is a bug]
As we believe that Epics, Stories are not usually duplicated, we only store CWM tasks as a part of the template.

Please let me know if you have further questions.
