How to track the sprint history (what stories were in a sprint)

Some stories will be part of more than 1 sprint.

Example: STRY123 was developed in Sprint 1, but validated and deployed in Sprint 2.

I would like to track how many sprints a story is part of.

I would like to track how many stories get added to a sprint after the sprint has started.

Currently, I am exporting the story list at the start of the sprint and at the end of the sprint.

Is there a better way to track this information?

Did you try to create metric on story & sprint tables, later you can create report from metric table.

Is there a way to configure the Metric Definition to only create Metrics for stories with a specific Project Name?
