So, what’s The Devvies Contest all about?
If you’ve built an app that’s made an impact—maybe it streamlined workflows, boosted efficiency, or helped people save time—you’ve got what it takes! This is your moment to show off your talent. Go solo or team up with up to four friends, and let’s celebrate the amazing things you’ve accomplished using ServiceNow.
Who can enter?
Short answer: anyone! Whether you're a seasoned developer or just dipping your toes in the world of app creation, if your app’s live and in use, you’re eligible. The Devvies welcomes participants from all backgrounds and skill levels!
And the best part… Prizes!
This year, we’re pulling out all the stops! We’ve got two awards: App of the Year, chosen by our expert judges, and the People’s Choice, decided by ServiceNow Community vote. Every valid submission will earn swag, but finalists? They’ll receive additional swag, recognition, and the chance to win over $10,000 in prizes. Now that’s worth celebrating! Here’s the Contest Schedule:
- November 14, 2024: Submissions for the Devvies open at 8:00 a.m. PST.
- December 10, 2024: Submission period closes at 11:59 p.m. PST.
- January 6, 2025: Finalists for both App of the Year and People’s Choice Award will be announced on the ServiceNow Community!
- January 27, 2025: Finalists must submit their video pitches by 11:59 p.m. PST.
- February 28, 2025: Winner selection is completed, and winners are notified.
- May 6 - 8, 2025: Winners will be revealed during the CreatorCon Keynote at the ServiceNow Knowledge 2025 conference.
How to Apply
Head over to the official contest page and submit your app—it’s quick, easy and takes less than 20 minutes! Just make sure your app is fully functional and active in a production environment.
To qualify for swag, remember to:
- Share that you’re part of The Devvies by tagging ServiceNow and using #TheDevvies on social media.
- Drop a comment on this blog with a link to your post.
