ServiceNow Build Agent is a smart AI tool that helps you build, edit, and deploy full-stack applications via a conversational interface. It writes the code, organizes your files, fixes errors as it goes, and takes care of both the core logic and the UI.  

Built natively on the ServiceNow AI Platform, it understands the context of your existing workflows, data, and systems so what it builds actually fits your environment. Just describe what you want to create, and Build Agent manages the entire build process.

  1. Document: Share your application on social media with a description, video, or infographic showcasing your app and share the prompts that brought it to life. Make sure you include #BuildMoreWithBuildAgent in your post! 
  1. Share: Comment on this blog post with a link to your social post and a brief description of what you built.

Entrants must respond to the official forum with a 1) Screenshot, graphic, or video showing their app built using Build Agent or 2) a 300 minimum word description of the app they built with a screenshot using Build Agent AND entrants must post their video or blog into the ServiceNow Community Developer forum here AND share it on LinkedIn or Twitter with #BuildWithBuildAgent Challenge on their post AND the social media post will be linked to their forum post.    

The Submission must be your own, original work; The Submission must contain a relevant reason/response to the prompt of Build Agent; The Submission must meet the format and size requirements of the social platform used to enter; The Submission must conform with any applicable social media platform terms.   

The prize includes a gift card redeemable online or at Knowledge 2026. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $50 USD.

  • Prompt 5: Configure AI Agent to automatically detect the endorsed document and trigger email notifications by attaching the gap analysis document to department head and project owner (For initial stage, the workflow may have a pause stage to be reviewed manually) and upon the approvals raise a change request if it's before Thursday on that week and generate CAB meeting invites. Once CAB approved, implement the change and keep the change being manually closed.
  • Prompt 6: Create a dashboard based on the metrics/parameters (no. of requests submitted for ARC, No. of requests undergone validation, No. of request completely approved, conditionally approved and rejected for review, No. of documents generated with gap analysis, Endorsed count, Upcoming CAB details)

I'm excited to share my #BuildMoreWithBuildAgent Challenge submission - a revolutionary gamified 404 error page that transforms dead-end navigation into an engaging cybersecurity experience!

 

What is it?
Instead of showing users a boring "Page Not Found" message, my app presents them with a 3D sliding puzzle challenge they must solve to "unlock access." It's like an escape room for your browser!

 

Key Features:
Three Difficulty Levels: Beginner (3×3), Pro (4×4), and Maniac (5×5) puzzle grids
3D Visual Experience: Built with React and Three.js for stunning graphics with cyberpunk theming
Real-Time Scoring: Advanced algorithm that factors in moves and completion time
Live Leaderboards: Top performers displayed with filtering by difficulty
Comprehensive Analytics: Every user interaction tracked for behavioral insights
Admin Control Panel: Configure puzzle images, themes, time limits, and settings
Role-Based Security: Separate permissions for players and administrators

Technical Implementation:
The entire application was generated from a single natural language prompt using ServiceNow Build Agent. Within one session, Build Agent created:

Excited to share a project I’ve been working on — a Smart Hostel & Accommodation Management System built on ServiceNow 🚀
This solution is designed to simplify how students apply for both on-campus and off-campus accommodation, while giving administrators full visibility and control. It includes features like digital application forms, automated approvals, role-based access, and real-time tracking of hostel availability.
Through this project, I’ve been able to apply key ServiceNow concepts such as custom tables, form design, access controls, and Flow Designer, transforming a simple idea into a scalable, real-world solution.
Looking forward to enhancing it further with dashboards, reporting, and a more advanced user experience.

Excited to participate in the #BuildMoreWithBuildAgent challenge! 🚀

 

I built a Smart Escalation Advisor on ServiceNow - focused on improving decision-making before ticket creation.

 

The problem I noticed is that in many cases, priority and escalation decisions depend on manual judgment, which can lead to inconsistencies, delays, or misrouting.

 

To address this, I designed an application that:
→ Suggests priority (P1–P4) based on impact & urgency
→ Recommends escalation, including conditional scenarios
→ Detects critical signals like “unauthorized access” for security-aware handling
→ Routes issues to the appropriate support team
→ Provides reasoning and confidence level for transparency
→ Generates a ready-to-use incident summary

 

The idea is to shift from just logging issues to guiding actions at the right moment.

While AWA handles assignment efficiently, this focuses on helping users make the right decision before that step.

I finally had the chance to try out the Build Agent for the very first time during the #BuildMoreWithBuildAgent Challenge. To be honest, I was genuinely amazed at how fast I could build a fully functional application just by using natural language prompts—without writing a single line of code!

 

The Problem: Information Overload
Every day, an overwhelming amount of new information about the ecosystem is released—ranging from new feature releases and acquisitions to competitor news, case studies, license updates, and hot social media posts. Following the latest updates—including the #BuildMoreWithBuildAgent challenge itself—is essential for staying on top of the platform.

 

However, time is limited, and it is impossible for anyone to read and retain all this information. More importantly, the information you need depends entirely on your role, interests, and skill level.

 

For an organization, two things are vital:

・Ensuring team members have access to the specific knowledge most relevant to their daily work.

・Maintaining a shared perspective and organizational alignment on platform innovation.

 

The Solution: ServiceNow News Hub
To solve this, I built the ServiceNow News Hub using nothing but natural language prompts with the ServiceNow Build Agent on a Personal Developer Instance.

This application acts as an information command center designed to collect the vast amount of daily news, optimize the delivery based on user personas, and foster organizational collaboration.

 

Core Features
Automated Information Collection: Aggregates and categorizes news articles automatically. Categories include Security, Licensing, Competitor & Case Studies, Pre-releases, Platform New Features, and Hot Social Posts.

Persona-Based Optimization: Users can select their role/attribute (Executive, Developer, Project Manager, or User). The application dynamically filters the feed and automatically provides tailored content and summaries based on the selected persona.

Recommendations & Trending Leaderboards: Tracks what team members are reading and finding interesting. It displays internal trends and rankings so the whole organization can stay aligned on what matters most.
