In the vast landscape of developer insights, the numbers paint a vivid picture of enthusiasm: 95% of developers are actively leveraging AI in their daily work.
What truly captures developers attention is the unwavering faith in AI's ability to streamline processes. 42% see AI as a game-changer, boosting productivity and mastering time management and efficiency. Furthermore, 41% are eyeing auto-generated code suggestions and complete functions as the most valuable future aspects of their AI development journey.
Trust in AI: Experience Breeds Confidence
Developers' trust in AI is rooted in their experience. An impressive 82% of developers express trust in AI, with 20% attributing this trust to their positive experiences and outcomes. For ServiceNow practitioners, AI is not a distant, mystic entity but a proven, trustworthy colleague.
Concerns and Excitement: Two Sides of the AI Coin
However, the journey with AI is not without its challenges. While developers express an 86% excitement level towards AI in development work, concerns linger — 58% have concerns, predominantly about privacy and security. These concerns are significantly higher among Entry Level developers (71%).
