Hi All,
I will cover today how I manage to solve this error of flow wherein it opened in read only mode.
Error Details:
- flow is read-only
- flow can not be activated
- error show "Insufficient access level for operation [write] on Action Design entity [sys_hub_flow : <sys_id>]
Resolution Steps:
- In the flow designer when the broken flow is open, in the URL observer the sys_id after
<instance_name>.servicenow.com/$flow-designer.do?sysparm_nostack=true#/flow-designer/18fc6a61db4e1010542ae8cd13961976 - go to table [sys_hub_flow], search the record that has the sys id
- bring in column main snapshot, and copy the value of the column
- replace the sys id in the URL with this one
- edit, save or activate the flow
