This month I would like to cover about GenAI. How and What is the best way to use GenAI in ServiceNow.
Generative AI is designed to be more human-like than ever before. It can create realistic content by learning from existing data. It can provide realistic and creative text, images, and other media to transform industries such as entertainment, marketing, and healthcare.

What is Code Assist and How does it help us in ServiceNow :
Code Assist gives us the feature to automatically generate the code by using Code Generation by just writing a line of comment. See below How? Here is the live script and example for the same below:
Here are some pointers to remember on Code Assist:
- Creates the code automatically by hitting Ctrl + Enter
- Try Entering switch(today) or switch(weekly)
- switch(hourofDay)
- Try and catch
- try
- Get all active cases opened by vips
- Get all active cases opened by vips then loop through the result and email and update to the caller
Note: Now Assist assumed case was the sn_customerservice_case table. As of October 2023, Code Assist does not validate that specific table or fields exist, so always verify the table and field names.

Also another good example of Code Assist below:
1. Try putting this : // make a decision with 26eea7a9dba07300efc65404ce961961 with inputs vip and amount.
2. Try putting this in Instance scan checks Scripts , notification email script, fix script - // identify inactive users who are locked out
What is Flow Assist and Flow Recommendations?
Flow recommendations provides a set of recommendations on the next best action when you are authoring a flow.

By using these options one can save the time and effort spent on building the business logic. It has various capabilities in Washington Release wherein it can create the whole flow for you just by writing few lines of comment. So it is definitely a good option for saving time and effort.
