Use Case:
Are there any functionalities available in Yokohama to comprehend the Non-Compliant software, License Summary and its related model through a diagrammatic representation, along with a detailed explanation of the underlying issues.
Solution:
The ServiceNow Yokohama version comprehends the challenges associated with Non-Compliant software analysis and recognizes its significance. It introduces new functionality featuring a tree structure and elaborates on the details through the assistance of three categories.
1. Licensed
2. Requiring Action
3. Ignored
The feature is referred to as 'Products with Installs' and can be found in the Software Asset Workspace under Licensing > Product with Installs.
Upon selecting the 'Product with Installs' option, a comprehensive list of installed software will be displayed, along with the data from 'samp_product_install_stats'.
Choose and click on the necessary Publisher and product to obtain the information regarding the license summary, such as installed, requiring action, unlicensed, ignore install count, etc. Select the 'License Usage' button to view the diagrammatic representation.
Upon clicking the 'License Usage' button, the structure below will be presented, elucidating the outcome in the three categories mentioned above.
Select the 'Licensed', 'Requiring Action', and 'Ignored' options to gain a comprehensive understanding of license utilization and to proceed with the Software Complaint steps.
Note: The solution referenced has adopted functionalities from the 'License Usage' Dashboard of 'Unlicensed Utilities'. Refer below diagram.
