Hii all i have to make this requirement to my instance..
A checkbox named “CMDB update” will be available for the Change requester
and Change manager to submit an interest for CMDB update. Check box will
create an automated CTASK for Configuration Management assignment group to
ensure CI changes are updated in CMDB( manual or discovery)..
What is the best approach to achieve this.

What's the question exactly? Just create a new field with a field ACL for just the roles you require (requested by is dynamic me or change manager is dynamic me), so only they can tick the box and create a flow through flow designer to create a task, based on the ticking of that field.

What is your question? I already told you the answer: create a task after the box is checked. There you have your trigger and the action you need to perform. That's what you do in the flow designer.
