A workflow with this name already exists

Hi , I was trying to create a workflow on a custom table and by mistake closed the window without publishing the workflow.

Now when i tried to create a new workflow with the same name i get error "A workflow with this name already exists"

please can somebody tell me how do i search and delete the workflow as it is not listed in the workflow list

You can search the workflow.

1. Under Workflow -> Workflow Editor (or)

2. Under Workflow -> Workflow Versions(Remove the filter published is true).

You can find it in workflow versions module.

In navigation type 'workflow version',filter the list like 'checked out by is your name and name contains workflow name'.

open the record which u found and click show workflow.It will open the workflow in workflow editor.Then publish it using gear box.

Thanks. I was able to figure out how to delete the old workflow.

I looked at schema map for the workflow related tables.

Deleted the duplicate entry from the wofklow table
