hi all, we have itil users who are unable to view reports on asmt_assessment_instance tables

have you checked ACL on "asmt_assessment_instance" table for report_view operation?

See if roles defined for itil or not? if you want you can update those ACL roles based on your need.

Also set "survey_reader" role to that itil user.

I tested on my personal instance and worked. 

What I did , I assigned survey_reader role to the itil user and then created two ACL.

For some reason I have no option to edit this. I am currently logged in as Admin.

You will need to elevate your access to security_admin to modify ACL.

Honestly, I am not sure how to do it. I am just new. Thank you.

I noticed ServiceNow has setup assessment_admin access to asmt_assessment_instance by default.

Do we need to disable all those ACL and create new ACL for survey_read? 

Or we just need to grant assessment_admin to itil users (this doesn't seems right)? Thanks!
