Activity Log Should not visible for End users

HI,
How to hide the activity log for End users in incidents page.?They have to seen only the comments.

You have options. One, you can correct the acls on the fields so they cannot see the fields in the activity. Two, you can remove those activities from the activity filter (by right clicking the activity field). Three, you can remove the activity field from the form.


but how do you not allow ess users (or people with specific roles) to not be able to see activies at all...you only want activities to be viewable for people handling the tickets (with ITIL roles) only?

Doesn't look like you can't do that in ACL's or UI policies. The only way I can think of is client scripting on load but its not working at all from what I'm trying.

You can create one new section and add activity there. Then based on user role hide/unhide the section.. I did this with other client.
