Hi,
Is it possible to add a button inside the dashboards? In the best-case scenario, the button would be displayed on the 'List of items' tab (I’ll have 6 other tabs as well) or maybe somewhere on the 'Cases' dashboard.
The button should generate a list of records that meet the business requirements in a specific PDF template. I also need to use an HTML template to build this document.
Right now, I’m only asking whether it is possible to add a 'Generate document' button somewhere there that does this job. The agent clicks the 'Generate document' button, and one document is generated and downloaded.
I’ve seen options like print-friendly view or export, but the information needs to be placed into a template document. I assume this requires UI Builder customization, but I’m not an expert in using this tool.
Any ideas on how to achieve it?

I don't think so this is feasible

Hi @miro2 I would call it a duplicate of what’s already built—it’s more for education and training. I’d suggest avoiding it for now, even though you could do it via the UI.

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG thanks for your reply.
I’ve already asked Ankur a follow-up question, but what do you think about this option?
Is it possible to add that button here instead of placing it on a tab?
If so, this would require UI Builder customization.
I’m just checking whether there are any other options or workarounds.

Hi @miro2
If we remove complexity and technical debt, then anything could be possible. However, since this is a core product change, I’m not sure how much we can implement via the UI builder. What button are you looking to add, mate?

@Dr Atul G- LNGa simple button, like the one shown below, similar to Export. The agent clicks it, and the pdf is generated and downloaded. That’s all.
