Add fields to the Post incident Report in the View Workbench of Major incident management

Hello,

I am trying to add a field from the major incident form to the Post incident report. All I could find is that the report is a read-only page and cannot be edited. Whats the correct way to add a field from the form to the Post Incident Report?

Hi Amit,

 

The PIR is a UI Page and I believe you won't be able to edit the OOTB one, but you'll be able to copy its content and create a new UI Page, then add your additional fields.

Thanks for your input. I have created a new PIR and now i can make the changes but the PIR is not same as the 'Post Incident Report' tab in the Major incident workbench. Please see the screenshot below

 

So when i click on 'View Complete Report' button, i get the new PIR. But the Post Incident Report tab is not in sync with the report. I want them to be in sync. 

How can i edit the tab? I want to add the form fields in the 'Post Incident Report' tab as well.

I believe the fields displayed in the workbench are configurable. However, I would really ask what extra field you need on the PIR tab and why?

The PIR tab, even in an OOTB, system is not in sync with the generated report you get when clicking on View Complete Report. The reasoning here, I believe, is that the PIR tab is mainly designed to collect additional information from the major incident manager, specifically, the overview and the findings (RCA) fields, but a full comprehensive report that collects information from different tabs/sections of the incident can only be viewed by clicking on the View Complete Report button, which can also be saved as a PDF attachment to the incident record, if needed.

Should you feel that you still need to modify the forms on the workbench, then you can submit an enhancement request through HI for the product team to have a look.
