I have received this request and am unsure how to proceed when tackling the portion of the request that wants it to automatically set to the current date.
Add and "In stock date" to the hardware assets table [alm_hardware]. date only field.
Form: The field should be located on the hardware form in the General tab, beneath the Validated field. The field is Not user editable.
Script: When State is changed to "In stock" the In stock date, is automatically set to the current date.
Background: The asset management team needs to be able to compare LANDesk scan data against when a device was put into stock.
