We would like to be able to add screen shots (pasted from clipboard) to Service Now in the Comments and Work notes sections of an incident (task table). Is there a best practice for this?
I changed the field type to HTLM and it seems to work. The only challenge I am having so far is the image stays in the field after I save/update. Is there a way to clear out the field after the form is saved so new comments can be added?
Anyone else using this method to attach screen shots? Anything I should watch out for?
Thanks so much!!

Hi
This is the right way to design your form but as you see you already have the worknotes section in that so I don't think you need to add that.
I believe that you just have to change the view of the form that you have from the view option just by the dropdown menu that comes when you right-click the Grey Bar and select Default and it will come. From there you can directly paste your screen-shot.

Just to Ctrl-C on the sreenshot that you have and Ctrl-V on the worknotes section if you're using Windows

This would be awesome to have. So end users can see the comments with the screen shots.

Hey Lisa...Easiest way to achieve this is by responding back to the email generated from the ticket (INC/TASK etc) [Ex: SMTP Address xyz@service-now.com], where the inbound email will add the content (including screenshots or GIFs) to the work notes activity. Please ensure that the MSG# is not modified from the original email.
