admin should not be able to access record producer in serice portal

I'm creating a Record Producer that should be accessible only to the user Abel Tuter. Even the admin should not be able to access it. How can I achieve this?

Hi @neehas ,

Below are the steps to restrict record producer access to all users.

 

1. Under Service Catalog module-> Catalog Definitions-> User Criteria-> New-> Give Name for your user criteria-> Select user or group or roles as per your condition for access of your record producer-> Save.

 

2. Now come to your record producer -> under related list there is available for related list-> click on edit-> Select your User criteria which you already created-> move your user criteria from collection list to available for List-> Save.

It could be that your admin sees it, even with the 'available for' user criteria attached, but you can also add UC of 'admin' to 'not available for'. Just make sure Abel isn't admin, because in that case, he won't be able to see it.

Hi @neehas 

If the admin should not be able to see it, then you can test to ensure no implementation is possible. You can create user criteria, add a group (create a new group for admin), and assign it there.
