After submitting a request for approval, the approval is set to "APPROVED" before being approved

Hello,

 

I am trying to create an approval flow for catalog item. Once the request is submitted, the management group is asked to approve or reject it. However, after testing it, I see that on the request table, the request has already the status "approved":

The related RITM stage is set to "request approved" and has no approvers visibile (is this normal?):

Then, when I impersonate a member of the management group I see the request is there to be approved or rejected:

As you can see it says "state requested" - Where does it come from just as I explained, in the table the request has the state "approved"...

 

 

Next, after approval, I check the RITM and then I see that only now I can see the approvers and also Catalog Task that was eventually created (bc request was approved):

Try add the Stages to your flow 🙂

Request you please check the OOTB flow and see what is missing. As suggested by @Clara Lemos  it can be stages as well.
