Allow can contribute users to publish/retire articles across the KB

Hi Team ,
We got a requirement to allow 'can contribute' user criteria people to edit all the articles belongs to that KB in draft state and allow them to publish and retire as well. I assume there is no oob feature which will allow us to do that right.
Can this be advisable to allow them to edit all the draft articles or only the author should do that?
Any input on this would be much appreciated.

the best practice is to have 1 or 2 owners/managers of KB to publish and retire. with that said, you can have a few SMEs that can draft articles and have the owner of KB approve for publishing/ updating or retiring articles.
