Allow SG Connector only to update existing CI records but not create new ones

Hi,

Is there a way to configure a SG Connector or logic around it in a way that the connector is only allowed to update existing CI records but not create new ones.

The customer has a requirement where for every new device procured, they want to first manually import it into the CMDB and only then allow the connector to run and update only certain attributes.

You can configure IRE Data Source Rule to restrict CI insertion from a specific data source.

Create an IRE data source rule (servicenow.com)
