Announcements are not showing in portal even though they are configured in the backend

Hi 

We are suddenly facing an issue with announcements. They were showing on yesterday and disappeared today. I have checked everything and found nothing wrong.

The records still have 'To' date in future.

The portal is added to the records.

They have valid display style.

The records are in global (we also have scoped, both are not working though)

We have a custom portal, I have checked in the OOB portal as well, same issue.
All the 'Invalid Run As User' announcements are inactive
The data jobs[PA AppSec] and scheduled jobs[AppSec] have valid 'Run as' user.
Nothing is changed but they disappeared somehow. Not sure whether it's a global issue
Please help

Thanks to everyone for the replies!


We found the issue, there were some existing old announcements records with empty "To" dates. Making them inactive solved the issue. But we still wonder why that issue didn't occur previously, those records are 3-4 years old, how it worked fine earlier.

Thanks for posting your resolution.  I just found the same situation and root cause; marking old announcements with no to: dates as inactive solved the issue.
