Announcements to appear in UI 16

Is there any way to make Announcement created under Portal > Announcement also appear in UI16? This way our licensed users also know about an outage for outlook.

No I have not found a way to get the banner to show up in UI 16 or the Next Experience.

We still using U16, but I Found this for Next UI.

Well that sucks. So if you are using Service Portal for some users and Next experience for others you have to setup the anncounment in 2 places.
We are not using the next experience yet either.
