Any step by step guide for mobile agent apps setup?

Hello all, 

I have a custom application, i need to enable this application in mobile,

Any one can recommend a step by step guide on how to setup/enable this application in mobile apps?

To set up the Mobile Agent app in ServiceNow, you can follow these steps:

  1. Install the Mobile Agent app from the ServiceNow Store.

  2. Navigate to the Mobile Agent module in the ServiceNow web interface. This can typically be found under the "Mobile" section in the main navigation menu.

  3. Click the "New" button to create a new Mobile Agent.

  4. Enter a name for the Mobile Agent and select the appropriate user to whom the Mobile Agent will be assigned.

  5. Select the appropriate application, such as "Incident" or "Problem," that the Mobile Agent will be used for.

  6. Configure the Mobile Agent settings as needed, such as the record types that can be accessed and the fields that can be edited.

  7. Click the "Submit" button to save the Mobile Agent.

  8. Install the Mobile Agent app on the user's mobile device.

  9. Log in to the Mobile Agent app using the user's ServiceNow credentials.

  10. The Mobile Agent app is now set up and ready to use on the user's mobile device.

To enable your custom application for mobile in ServiceNow, follow these steps:

  1. Activate Mobile Plugins – Ensure ServiceNow Mobile and Mobile Studio plugins are active.

  2. Open Mobile Studio – Navigate to Studio > Create Application File > Mobile to create a mobile experience.

  3. Define App Shell – Set the app name, icon, and roles.

  4. Configure Tabs & Menus – Add lists, forms, and dashboards using pre-built or custom views.

  5. Test on Now Mobile – Use Now Mobile or ServiceNow Agent app for testing.

  6. Publish – Finalize and publish your mobile app.
