PDI gets back put to the pool if is not active, if longer, instance is lost. So we're supposed to request another instance and I loose all of my work. Is there anyway to not loose the PDI instance without having to save my work at another place.
Appreciate any thoughts / comments on this. Thanks In Advance.

@AmenaA Best way is to keep the backup in form of an update set or if you are building a custom scoped app then you can link your app to GitHub repository and regularly sync your work with repository regularly.
For data, you can export the data from tables in form of XMLs. Use these backups to restore your data and configurations whenever your old instance is reclaimed and you request for a new PDI.
Hope this helps.

Hi @AmenaA ,
I would always recommend you to backup your work through GIT repository in scoped / global apps.

Hi @AmenaA
No, there is no other way, to keep safe, better take the backup when you about to logout from pdi , you can check in github or update set back up
