Is there additional licensing/subscription requirements if you have the Servicenow Professional license/subscription? Our production tenant displays the following message.
You need a valid App Engine Studio license to continue working.

Hit this exact wall on a Pro instance last year. The base Professional subscription does not bundle App Engine Studio rights, so AES throws that block until your tenant has the App Engine creator entitlement assigned. The work you saved stays intact once the license returns. Loop in your account manager for the specifics, since the actual numbers and tiers shift per contract.
