I am a new user to App Engine Studio. I am trying to create an app from scratch.
I do the following: Data --> Add data --> Choose a spreadsheet to import from --> Click on 'Drag and drop ...' --> select file --> Click OK.
System shows progress and then NOTHING happens: no error message, no uploaded file, <Continue> button is disabled.
I tried refreshing the instance. Same.
I would qualify this as a bug.
Any ideas? It should be pretty straightforward.

Same issue at my side. Seems your Excel is corrupted. Try to create a new Excel.

Thank you for your reply. I do not know if it is corrupted or not. I can open it with Excel and everything is fine.
If the parser cannot parse a file, I expect there be an error message, and not total silence.
As this exception is not handled, I still consider it a bug.
I cannot suggest my customer to try and use another file. It does not work this way. And I cannot use 'it seems' either. I need to give a straight forward answer.

Greetings!!
Hope you are doing well.
I can understand your frustration and totally agree on this. I am not sure I can fully help you here or not but give a try with another excel sheet and reach out to HI support and raise a case to mark this as bug.
@David Need your guidance to redirect to right team.

It might be worth asking this same question in the App Engine product hub: https://www.servicenow.com/community/app-engine/ct-p/app-engine
If no one responds, please let me know.

Hi @mkomisarenko ,
Did you resolve this problem? There's definitely something about the spreadsheet that ServiceNow doesn't like. I downloaded your spreadsheet, and it didn't work for me, either.
But, after copying the data via copy and paste into a new spreadsheet, it imports fine.
If this is helpful, please mark it as helpful, as it could help others. Many thanks!
