Was wondering if anyone knew of a add in or custom app that would be can be used as a separate module for when users or techs require a new application to be packaged that has a workflow built in and field to enter in info such as who requested it the name of application the Vendor the version etc.. It would then follow a workflow to show approval, testing, etc..
I am looking for something kind of similar to the Loaner request system - ServiceNow Share
Trying not to re-invent the wheel so any help is appreciated.

This sounds like a good candidate for a catalog item with workflow. Is there a reason that wouldn't work?

Hey Brad appreciate the response. Yeah I was thinking about this yesterday after I posted and came to the same conclusion.
I was wondering do you happen to know a good step by step guide and or video that can show a novice such as myself best method to creating a new catalog item?
Any help is appreciated

Hi Alex,
The hard part is usually mapping out your process. From there you can build your workflow and determine what data you need to take in up front in order to complete your process.
