Hi All,
Just curious if anyone's ever implemented something like this. Basically I'm looking for a way that when the receiver clicks Approve/Reject, it automatically updates the corresponding record to Approved/Rejected. Right now we're using the OOB inbound emails to control this, but I've heard there's a way to do it by eliminating the extra step of sending the reply email.
Is this diving into integration territory or is it something that the REST API can help me with? Obviously we still want the validation that the person who clicked the button is actually an approver in the record. Alternatively, if we could get the button to auto-send the inbound email upon clicking this could also work, as it eliminates the extra step of the receiver clicking "Send" on a new email.
Thanks!

Hi Nicholas,

Did anyone customized the email approval?
In short, yes - it can be done. If you simply click a link, it is going to assume the user is already logged in and the screen they land on has enough information for them to make an informed decision.
