Approval for Query for knowledge article approvals

Hi All,

Is it possible to add below text on "Approval for" field on knowledge article approvals. 

When publishing the article - it should be like "Approval to Publish Article" and

When Retiring the article - 'Approval for Retirement'.

Hello,

We already have this functionality OOB.

In a Knowledge base record we can select what kind of workflow should be attached to any KB articles created under that knowledge base.

If you select Approval Publish then all articles under that knowledge base will have to be approved prior to publishing. Same thing applies for retiring a KB article.

I think you did not get my query. My query is to populate the text in 'Approval for' field on knowledge approvals.

Good morning,

The 'Approval for' field only supports a task reference and is from the times where approvals were only used for task based records.

Instead, add the 'Approving' field to your related list layout to see the reference to the KB article. The 'Approving' supports both task, and non-task records
