The requirement is that every member of the group should approve ; but happens is that when the first approver , approves , the other one's become cancel; but we need to have approval from every member. Any thoughts on how to achieve this?

I think you can just use it like this.
attach the approved option to the join, and attach the rejection to a approval action. So if 1 person rejects, it will just cancel the others.

you can do this when you edit the workflow.
Open the approval activity, and you will see an option called "wait for" which you can change to "Everyone to approve".
below is a screen shot of the approval activity options.

You are right , but it's not group approval; there are several user approvals. When the first one approves the rest will be cancelled.

1. you can add all the users instead of group to 'user approval' activity and select 'everyone to approve'.
2. If you still want to keep individually you have use 'Join' activity which will wait for all the preceding activities to be finished to go forward.

Another option is to use the Approval Coordinator activity. It's designed to take one or more child approvals and give options for the approval outcome.
