Approval State Changes to 'No Longer Required' in Custom HR Application

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently facing an issue with a custom application I have developed for HR Services in ServiceNow.

 

In my application, I have configured a custom table that utilizes a Subflow to generate approvals against HR Case records. This Subflow is called within a Playbook. However, I have noticed that the state of the approvals generated automatically changes to "No Longer Required" immediately after they are created. Interestingly, this issue does not occur with the RITMs, which are functioning as expected.

I have thoroughly checked the Business Rules and other configurations related to the approval process, but I have not been able to identify the root cause of this behavior.

 

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or could provide insights on what might be causing the approval state to change unexpectedly? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
