Archiving Custom Table in seperate application

Hi,

I am setting up a simple archive rule to archive old incidents and some related records. One of the related required is a custom table that extends task and is in it's own separate application. When I try to save the Archive Related Record record I get an error message saying "Invalid 'Reference table' selected on the Archive Related Records record." and goes on to explain that it's in a different application from the currently selected application.

I'm loathe to experiment too much as it isn't my instance and so my question is, if I change into the relevant application and then created the Archive Related Records record, will it function correctly?

Hi @Andrew Bettcher 

You can change the scope and create the archival rule. I Tested this, it works fine.
