Hello,
I have two questions regarding ATFs as it relates to UI Actions for a scoped app using workspace. I had existing ATFs that were working fine, but now that we are moving to Zurich, 10 of them no longer work. All of these do use a Run Server Side Script and none of the tests were failing on that step. Once the script step runs, then there is a Click UI action that works and a record query that works. When the step Open an Existing Record runs, it just hangs and shows pending, it never gets past that step. First I am wondering it anyone else has had this issue and if yes, how did you resolve it please?
The 2nd question as per direction I was given by the group that oversees Service Now within our corporation is about re-working these ATFs to remove the Run Server Side script even thought it wasn't failing. So I picked one and did re-work the portion that the Run Server Side script was doing and then continued to follow with the same steps as the ATF that has the Run Server Side script. Unfortunately, the 2nd UI Action doesn't work because the UI action button never shows, whereas it was showing in the old version. Prior to this step I do a query to the related table for the record that was just created. Then opening the existing form from that query, click the 1st UI action and the status updates as it should, but then the 2nd UI action button never shows. The 2nd UI action is a server side ui action that has the client check box clicked with a condition that calls on a scrip include to show the button. The script uses current.whatever and from what I am finding, that is the reason for the issue I am not seeing the 2nd UI Action button. Has anyone run into this issue and how did you resolve it? I already tried adding a 2nd query and open existing form to try and force a refresh with no success, just as an FYI.
I appreciate any information for either one of these two questions as I am unsure how to address this.
Thanks,
Annette
