Attachment Icon (Paper clip icon) and attachments related list not visible

Hello,

I have a created a view to specific user role on rm_enhancments table where users with that role will only have read access (they are not allowed to edit fields). But, we wanted to provide them the access to attach the attachments on enhancements forms and we don't see the attachment icon (paper clip icon). How can I achieve this?

Hi,

If the user doesn't have "write" permission to the record, they'd be unable to add attachments.

You'd have to allow write to the table, then restrict the fields through a table.* ACL.
