Auto assign Assignment Group and INC Level / Priority.

I am attempting to get the incidents we receive to auto assign to particular groups and levels based off of specific fields.

I want the "Assignment Group" to auto-populate based off of the Location Code/ location presented in the Incident.

I want the "INC Level" and "Category" fields to auto-populate based off of information in the description.

Please see attached.

We are currently using Istanbul.  What is the best method of doing this?

You can create a business rule (system definition -> business rules).

 

Set "when to run" tab conditions to your location requirement, and actions to the desired "inc level" and "category" for each location. 

 

This solution will require a rule for each location.
