The auto-complete in Flow Designer shows multiple entries for same step. Which one should we use? And the logic please.

how many steps are there before this one?
did you try to clear instance cache using cache.do and then logout and login and then open the flow again?

Can you check if the script step is configured correctly ? Also, do you have a foreach loop running before this action, share the flow screenshot to understand what is happening.
You can also drag and drop the value from data panel to data pill picker.
