Automated reminders in SCTASK

Hi Everyone,

I would like to set up a chase process after sctask moved to awaiting customer response with 24-5 schedule and exit this process once the state is changed. I am not allowed to create any server side scripting like BRS or any other scheduled script for this process. I would like implement this in the same workflow even can't create a new subflow.

Hi,

Why the harsh restrictions? You will most likely need to build some server-side logic to handle the wait and reminder part.

Also, this query sounds like you are assuming that there will always only be one SCTask connected to a RITM, and the logic would fail if there were two active SCTasks at the same time.

Maybe this needs to be rethinked ?

Hi Olan,

We might not get enough approval for creating any server side code. So I need to just built this logic inside the workflow itself.

There is only one sctask in this RITM.

Is this a Flow Designer Flow or Work Flow Editor ?

Can you share screenshot of your configuration to suggest options.

If this helped to answer your query, please mark it helpful & accept the solution.

@geogeorge

you can use scheduled flow.

I don't think you can handle the automated reminder in existing workflow.

Even if you do it would be tedious and difficult to maintain.

Inform your customer about flow designer as it's low-code, no-code solution

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
