I am implementing a feature where multiple records are selected from a list view, and a button click triggers the creation of a new record. The newly created record includes an embedded list, and I would like to pre-populate this list with certain data from the selected records.
I am looking for advice on methods to automatically reflect specific field values from the selected records in the embedded list of the new record, or the best approach to temporarily hold the selected data and pass it to the new record creation form.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
