Automatically prioritizing the VIP user incidents as P3. How to do this please provide complete steps.

Hi @nameisnani 

There are many ways to approach this, such as UI policies, client scripts, or assignment rules. Just a reminder—don't set the priority directly. Instead, focus on setting the impact and urgency, and the priority will be determined automatically.

You can create a data lookup to check if the user is VIP, and if so, set both impact and urgency to 2. This will automatically adjust the priority.

If you are saying if the caller of INC is VIP then the Priority should be P3 then you can use before insert business rule on incident table
