Automation of CMDB Attestations

Hi Team , 

can anyone please help me on this requirment , 

CMDB Business Applications and Application Services need to be attested for accuracy every 12 months. This is currently done manually.

The attestation is required when the date in the 'Configuration Item Last Attestation Date' reaches 12 months in the past.

The intent of this request is to add automation of this process to send an extract of the Business Application and related Application fields to the Service Owner and Managed By contacts for the records asking that they review and provide details of any changes required.

This attestation should be sent when the date in the Configuration Item Last Attestation Date field is 11 months in the past. A screen shot of the field in question in the attached.

Please provide me the steps and screenshots of the configuration .

Hi @nameisnani , I would use two steps here to achieve what you are looking for.

1. Create a notification and add the required users to whom it needs to sent. 

2. Create a schedule job on when the notification has to be triggered. In your case it would be (date in the Configuration Item Last Attestation Date field is 11 months in the past).

Following the above steps you should be achieve what you are looking for.

This can be done in CMDB Workspace under Management -> Data Manager to create the attestation policy based on your requirements.  There are filter conditions, schedules and target tables which will give you everything you are looking to accomplish.
