I just read Mobile barcode scanning and wanted to try it out.
On the Short Description on the Incident form, I set the attribute "Enable barcode scanner" to true, but it doesn't seem to work. I tried going to $m.do and opening my instance on my phone, so both were using the mobile UI, but the scan icon did not seem to appear.
What did I do wrong?
I am on Geneva Patch 4 and have the attribute available, so why isn't it working?

Are you using the mobile app or browser?
FWIW, he barcode is only supported via the iOS mobile app (not browser.)

Hi Peter,
Does the barcode scanning icon appear next to the field on your mobile device?

Here is what I see and did:
Here you can see the dictionary entry of the Short Description on the Incident (Task) table. At the bottom you can see I added "Enable barcode scanner" and it defaulted to "true".
If I then browse to the incident page on my mobile phone, I see the following. Notice that there is no icon
