Bell icon should show the notification in the ServiceNow homepage.

When a particular field on a record is updated (select a field of your choice within the record of any table you like), there should be a notification received in ServiceNow instance that can be seen under the bell icon on the top right of the home page banner saying that the field is updated.

Hello @Prince DRaj

Based on your question, it seems you are looking for how to create a notification in the Next Experience UI.

I would recommend you to check this product documenation here.

Create custom notifications in Next Experience

I have tried this on my PDI, and i was able to successfully see the notification. Screenshot attached.

Hi,
Did you have any trouble getting the notifications to work on the Incident table?
I am trying with a notification for: Incident haven't been updated for 5 days
and: Incident has additional comments
But they only work sporadically.

Hi,

I was able to get this to work also, but im having issues with following:

- when you are in SOW, and say you have one new notification (INC, Interaction etc), and you click on it, the record is opened within SOW tab. Well and good. Now say

you have a custom workspace for a scope app, which also utilises Interaction. If you are on the custom workspace and you click on the notifications it does not open the record in the custom workspace but on Core UI. Any idea how I can achieve that?

Hi,

Did you ever solve this? I am also looking to alter the link that is opened when clicking on the notification, so that it opens the record in the custom workspace in a scoped app.
