Hi All,
Can anyone suggest what is the best practice if we need to change the assessment criteria of an inherent assessment.
do we have to retire assessment methodology and then change it? or create a new version of the methodology?

Yes, you are correct.
- If you create a new methodology and publish it, the existing methodology will indeed be retired.
- The old assessment instances will be related to a retired methodology.
- This change does not directly affect the workflow of the old assessment instances. They will continue to function as they were designed.
- However, any new assessments created after the change will follow the new methodology.
- If you want the old assessments to follow the new methodology, you would need to manually update them or create new instances.
- It's important to note that retiring a methodology does not delete it. It simply prevents it from being used for new assessments.
- If you need to revert to the old methodology, you can retire the new one and republish the old one.
