Best Tool to automate Servicenow - ATF or Selenium?

Hi All,

I am currently trying to understand the best tool to automate Servicenow - ATF or Selenium?

Also, Please help me with the challenges faced while using Selenium especially during instance upgrades and patch fixes. Once automation is in place , what would be the amount of rework required in the test scripts during upgrades when using ATF and Selenium.

Hi,

Regarding ServiceNow ATF it is not yet matured enough to handle all the test cases or scenarios. Such as

using ATF you cannot add attachments to record producer or catalog item. ATF has very limited capability to

what it can test.

But you can test small scenario based using ATF; but Selenium would have an upper hand since it has been in market from long time

This thread was started in 2020 and I believe in last 3 years, ATF must have evolved and overcome most of the limitations. Can I get a latest comparison of both the tools to identify best tool for automating SNOW.
