Can App Engine Studio be installed in Xanadu Developer Edition of ?

I have been learning ServiceNow by installing the Xanadu Developer Edition. When I try to install the App Engine Studio, not able to install using the Developer Service Now Id. Any work around to resolve this App Engine Studio installation issue?

Pheww, and hope you are in Xanadu patch 1 if yes then it is not a stable version. What you can do, take a new pdi with a lower version and then upgrade.

The same thing is happening to me and a couple of my students. From the homepage, it doesnt launch, it gives an error, and when i try to enable the plugin it isnt found

Thank you for your Response.

I have followed the doc you have referred and changed the user Role to "App Engine Studio Creator" after upgrading the instance to "Xanadu Patch 1 Hotfix 2a".

Though my instance profile shows as "App Engine Studio" installed, still not able to open the App Engine Studio page. Got the below error as attached in the screen shot.
