Can I report on API_INT Clogging up?

When I type STATS and get the stats.do page, I can see API_INT data that was recently a problem that resulted in Support providing additional nodes to improve performance. Is there a way I can report/track STATS so I can see when things start stacking up BEFORE it is a problem? Is there a table that this information is on? Or is STATS only something that can be run/checked interactively?

I know there is also /sys_physical_table_stats_list.do that Support pointed us towards.

What version of DC was it?
