I posted about this before, but was hoping in newer SNow versions (I think we are at Vancouver?) had an update?
If I run a report against the built-in change_task table, I can get and add columns and data from the parent change record.
However, if I run a report against the built-in change_request table, I CANNOT see any change task info. Unless I'm doing something wrong??
My use case is this - our team needs to use the built-in graphic for "Calendar" in the reporting. But our team ONLY gets assigned Change Tasks, we don't own the parent change requests. But sometimes we can get 3 or 4 Change Tasks as part of one Change Request. If I build the Calendar against the change_task table, it gets flooded with all the tasks and I don't know how many total parent change requests we are working on. I want to instead build the calendar based on change_request table, but search against the assignment group of the change tasks. That way I just see that we have X change requests on a specific night, regardless of whether we have 1 task or 15 tasks under that change.
I can't seem to get this to work though as there is no option to filter against tasks in change_request table.
